Mental Health Awareness Week

This week is Mental Health Awareness Week, which has been organised by the Mental Health Foundation. This year's theme is 'community' to highlight the importance of a safe and supportive community for mental wellbeing. The children learnt the importance of being part of a safe, positive community and how this is vital for our mental health and wellbeing. We thrive when we have strong connections with other people and supportive communities that remind us that we are not alone. Also that kindness is an essential building block of strong, supportive communities. The children took part the 52 Lives School of Kindness assembly followed by various activities linked to the theme during their PSHE lessons.
